*THIS CHART IS ONLY A PORTION (TOP 30) OF A TOP 50 CHART.
HENCE songs are not deemed to have fallen off the charts UNTIL they are
OUTSIDE/BELOW the top 50 and NOT the top 30 broadcasted on air. This IS
reflected in the year end 'jamz' and explains partially why songs peaking
significantly lower than others may still finish ahead of them on the
year-end charts.

Far East Movement Tops Hot 100 with 'Like a G6'

Los Angeles-based quartet Far*East Movement is set to move to the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 with its debut single "Like a G6" (2-1) when the chart is released tomorrow (Oct. 21). The act knocks out fellow newbie Bruno Mars, who falls to No. 2 after four weeks at No. 1 with his premiere single as a lead act, "Just the Way You Are."
Among multi-member acts, Far*East Movement is the first to take its initial chart appearance to No. 1 on the Hot 100 since D4L hit the top with "Laffy Taffy" in January 2006. Though "G6" is pushed down to No. 2 on Digital Songs by Taylor Swift's new arrival "Back to December," it shifts 223,000 (up 1%), according to Nielsen SoundScan, for its best single-week sum to date.
Cali's Far East Movement Rockets Up Hot 100
A week after opening at No. 2 on Digital Songs and No. 8 on the Hot 100 with "Speak Now," Swift claims her third chart-topper on the former list- all occurring this year- as "Back to December" debuts with 242,000 downloads. "December" starts as the Hot Shot Debut at No. 6 on the Hot 100, extending Swift's record for most top 10 debuts in the history of the chart to seven.
Her latest track is the third pre-release single from "Speak Now," which drops on Monday, Oct. 25. One more title, "Mean," was issued on Oct. 19, so expect another high Swift debut next week. Swift had previously topped Digital Songs with "Today Was a Fairytale" in February and "Mine" in August. She has yet to top the Hot 100, however, having peaked at No. 2 with "You Belong with Me" and "Today Was a Fairytale."
Taylor Swift: The Billboard Cover Story
Nelly's "Just a Dream" settles into the No. 3 slot on the Hot 100 for a second week, while Rihanna rises 6-4 with "Only Girl (In the World). The latter track jumps 11-7 on Radio Songs giving Rihanna her 14th top 10 on that list, tying Beyoncé for the most by a female since 2000.
"DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" by Usher featuring Pitbull holds at No. 5, Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" slides 4-7 and "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz falls 7-8.
Rounding out the top 10 are Flo Rida featuring David Guetta with "Club Can't Handle Me" (9-9) and Trey Songz's "Bottoms Up," featuring Nicki Minaj (13-10). The latter track is Songz's second top 10, following "Say Aah" from March of this year, and Minaj's first of her young career.
P!nk's "Raise Your Glass" make a toast-worthy Hot 100 jump (51-11) with gainer honors for both airplay and digital sales. The song jumps 42-16 on Radio Songs (44.5 million listener impressions, up 66%, according to Nielsen BDS) and 59-6 on Digital Songs (129,000, up 392%).
The Glee Cast adds six more entries to their lengthy output, led by "Lucky" at No. 13. The six tracks sell a cumulative 311,000 with "Lucky" shifting 82,000.
Other debuts for the week are "Move That Body" by Nelly featuring T-Pain & Akon (No. 54), Sugarland's "Little Miss" (No. 80), "This" by Darius Rucker (No. 83) and Trace Adkins' "This Ain't No Love Song."(No. 100).
