*THIS CHART IS ONLY A PORTION (TOP 30) OF A TOP 50 CHART.
HENCE songs are not deemed to have fallen off the charts UNTIL they are
OUTSIDE/BELOW the top 50 and NOT the top 30 broadcasted on air. This IS
reflected in the year end 'jamz' and explains partially why songs peaking
significantly lower than others may still finish ahead of them on the
year-end charts.

Britney Spears Bounds Into Hot 100's Top 10, LMFAO Still No. 1
We Recommend
LMFAO spends its fifth week atop the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (Aug. 4) on Billboard.com, with "Party Rock Anthem," featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, while Britney Spears scores her third top 10, "I Wanna Go," from her album "Femme Fatale," marking her first-ever set to produce a trio of Hot 100 top 10s. Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" remains at No. 2.
"Party" takes over the top spot on Radio Songs, lifting 2-1 with a 2% gain to 146 million in all-format audience, according to Nielsen BDS. The track tallies a fifth week at No. 1 on Digital Songs, although it declines by 4% to 202,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Amy Winehouse Keeps Climbing in Billboard 200
At No. 9, Spears' "Go" enters the top 10 from No. 11. The cut concurrently reaches the top tier on Radio Songs (13-9; 76 million, up 22%) and rises 9-7 on Digital Songs (116,000, down by less than 1,000 downloads). With the song's Hot 100 advance, Spears has tallied three top 10s from her seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale." Lead single "Hold It Against Me" debuted at No. 1 the week of Jan. 29, and "Til the World Ends" reached No. 3 in May.
Spears had twice previously banked as many as two Hot 100 top 10s from an album. The title cut from "...Baby One More Time" spent two weeks at No. 1 and "(You Drive Me) Crazy" reached No. 10 in 1999. Spears repeated the feat with the first two singles from "Circus"; "Womanizer" topped the Oct. 25, 2008, Hot 100 and the title song rose to No. 3 that December.
"Go" is Spears' 12th Hot 100 top 10 and fifth in-a-row. Her streak began with "3" in 2009 (from "The Singles Collection") and, along with the first three singles from "Femme," includes Rihanna's "S&M," on which Spears guested; the song ruled the April 30 Hot 100.
Dating to Spears' first week in the Hot 100's top 10 (Dec. 12, 1998), she trails only Rihanna (18) and Beyonce (14) for most top 10s among women.
At No. 2 on the Hot 100, Katy Perry continues her quest for an historical No. 1, as "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" maintains its rank from last week with Airplay Gainer honors for the fifth time in six weeks. On Radio Songs, "Friday" lifts 3-2. At 144 million (up 11%), the song is just 2 million behind LMFAO's "Party." The track slips 2-3 on Digital Songs, however (151,000, down 8%), leaving it 51,000 downloads off the pace of "Party."
Katy Perry Notches Record 5th No. 1 on Pop Chart
As previously reported, should "Friday" reach the Hot 100 summit, Perry would collect a fifth No. 1 from her album "Teenage Dream," following "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg, the title cut, "Firework" and "E.T.," featuring Kanye West. In the Hot 100's 53-year history, only Michael Jackson's "Bad" (1987-88) has generated five No. 1 singles.
Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" rises 4-3 on the Hot 100, climbing 5-4 on Radio Songs with a 5% gain to 124 million and receding 3-4 on Digital Songs (145,000, down 6%). How big is "Bass"? The song is the highest-charting Hot 100 hit by a solo female rapper (without the aid of a featured artist) since Missy Elliott's "Work It" reached No. 2 in 2002.
Pitbull's former Hot 100 No. 1 "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, retreats 3-4, ceding the top spot on Radio Songs (144 million, down 5%) after three weeks at No. 1.
Lil Wayne advances 6-5 on the Hot 100 with "How to Love," which gains in radio airplay (105 million, up 8%) and trades places with Adele's former seven-week No. 1 "Rolling in the Deep" (5-6). "Deep" remains atop Billboard's 10-position Summer Songs 2011 running tally, while "How" rises 9-8 on the seasonal list (which tracks the most popular songs this summer based on cumulative performance on the Hot 100 from the chart dated June 11 through this week; the final ranking will be posted Sept. 8).
Bad Meets Evil, the duo of rappers Eminem and Royce da 5'9", ascends 10-7 on the Hot 100 with "Lighters," featuring Bruno Mars. The cut soars 5-2 on Digital Songs, up 15% to 165,000, and 20-15 on Radio Songs (58 million, up 22%).
Rounding out the Hot 100's top 10, Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight" slides 7-8 and Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" drops 8-10.
Below the top tier, Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Otis," featuring the artist to whom the rappers pay tribute, Otis Redding, rockets 47-12 on the Hot 100 in its second chart week with Digital Gainer honors. The song charges 40-9 on Digital Songs (113,000, up 158%) following its first full week of retail availability. On Radio Songs, it lifts 50-47 (25 million, up 17%).
While the late Redding made 25 visits to the Hot 100 between 1963 and 1969, he ranked as high as high as No. 12 only once before: "(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay" spent four weeks at No. 1 in 1968.
Drake's "Marvin's Room" likewise logs a notable vault, zooming 68-21 on the Hot 100. The song blasts 55-12 on Digital Songs (90,000, up 185%), while entering Radio Songs at No. 66 (16 million, up 34%).
Eight titles debut on the Hot 100, led by rapper Kreashawn's "Gucci Gucci" at No. 82. Other new entries include "Cheers (Drink to That)" (No. 91), from Rihanna's album "Loud"; "Don't Stop the Party" (No. 93), the third single from the Black Eyed Peas' release "The Beginning"; and, Adele's former No. 1 Triple A radio hit "Rumour Has It" (No. 96), one of four tracks from her album "21" currently gracing the Hot 100. In addition to "Deep" (No. 6), new pop and adult radio single "Someone Like You" rises 85-73 and "Set Fire to the Rain" re-enters at No. 84.
All charts, including the Hot 100, Digital Songs, Radio Songs and the Summer Songs 2011 survey, will be refreshed tomorrow on Billboard.com
